CovePDF makes working with PDF files easy and comfortable. Besides its basic PDF reading capabilities, the application provides you with a nice selection of tools, for editing documents, signing and protecting them and more. Furthermore, it lets you work in a clean environment, with well organized controls, so you won't encounter any kind of difficulties.

The application is free to try for a limited period of time, without any noticeable restrictions, and it can be used on all modern Windows platforms. It can be installed in under a minute, without making any complicated settings and you don't have to meet any special requirements or sacrifice too many resources.

You can import one or more PDF files on the same interface, either by dragging and dropping them or through a standard browsing option. Loaded documents are displayed on separate tabs and you can manipulate them with the aid of various tools, located in three ribbon menus.

The available tools are organized in three menus: Home, Review and Edit. The Home menu contains basic options, for printing the document, sending it by email, taking a snapshot or protecting it with a password. If a PDF has editable text, you can go to the Edit menu and make your desired font settings. Inserting images on the pages is another possibility.

The Review menu is where you can find options for inserting annotations and links or signing the document. What's more, the software gives you the possibility of collaborating with other people on the same documents and you can also track the files. Another useful feature is the comparison option, which can be used to compare the contents of two documents. The process is instantaneous and all differences are highlighted, to make them easier to spot.

With the simple, but powerful features that CovePDF has to offer, it's quite easy to see why you'd want it as your default PDF reader.
